DAY 1: Departure & Arriving in Malta
You will be welcomed by your friendly tour guide at Dublin Airport before flying to the beautiful island of Malta.
DAY 2: Tour of Valletta
After a good night’s sleep and some delicious breakfast, we will embark on a wonderful walking tour around Valletta seeing the baroque heart of the city centre and exploring the outskirts of this ancient and stunning city. In the afternoon you will be able to take in the city at your own pace.
DAY 3: Gozo Island tour
Today we will be going on a fantastic full day guided tour around the island of Gozo seeing the Mgarr harbour, the Megalithic temples of Ggantija, the Medieval capital Victoria and much more. Followed by free time for you to take in the atmosphere and browse through local craft stores before returning to our hotel.
DAY 4: Malta Tour, Marsaxlokk and Blue Grotto
After breakfast, we will be enjoying a full tour taking in Tarxien Temples UNESCO World Heritage Site, local vineyards, Marsaxlokk a small beautifully picturesque fishing village, Blue Grotto a set of gorgeous sea caverns in perfect blue water and see the earliest evidence of the human presence in Malta. Before returning to the hotel.
DAY 5: Cruise in Marsamxett & Grand Harbour and Sliema
This morning we will be enjoying a wonderful cruise through Valletta’s two natural harbours, Marsamxett and the Grand Harbour, then you will be given time to shop, grab a coffee or a cold drink in Sliema. We will return to the hotel and the afternoon will be yours to enjoy at your leisure.
DAY 6: Fortified City of Mdina, Catacombs, Cliff at Dingli, Botanical Gardens and Mosta Dome
Once we have had our breakfast we will begin a tour of the formidably fortified city of Mdina followed by seeing the Christian catacombs of St Paul in Rabat and visiting the beautiful cliffs at Dingli. In the afternoon we will explore the stunning San Anton botanical gardens, experience the crafts centre at Ta’Quail, visit Mosta which has one of the world’s most impressive domed buildings and the Sanctuary Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady.
DAY 7: Vittiosa, Cospicua & Senglea tour
Today our tour will be taking in three amazing beautiful Mediterranean cities Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea. During these tours we will visit Senglea Garden. After you will be given free time in the gorgeous seaside town of Sliema to enjoy the promenade, cafes and shops before we return to our hotel.
DAY 8: The Journey Home
Relax this morning as we have a midday checkout followed by time to take in the last little sights of Malta before getting a flight home to Dublin Ireland.
